Protecting our Sons and Daughters - A Community Workshop to Combat Trafficking and Exploitation

 

Combat human trafficking and exploitation by leveraging the strengths of the community during this two day training. Get a unique look at the hidden world of sex trafficking from the experiences of a survivor, dynamics and perceptions of society, and the seduction and control of the victim by the trafficker. With this information, you will identify and leverage community resources, develop priority awareness programs for an effective community response, which can be delivered to the community at the conclusion of the training.

There is NO FEE to attend this training; however, pre-registration is required. The deadline to register is August 31, 2017. Registrations will still be accepted after this date based on your qualifications to attend and if seats are still available. Tuition, student materials, and instructional costs are provided by the AMBER Alert Training & Technical Assistance Program.
