The Pediatric SAFE Protocol recommends that the Multidisciplinary team members address prevention of child sexual abuse. There are a wide range of educational activities that may help the MDT reach a goal of incorporating child abuse prevention. These activities may include educating the community on reporting sexual abuse, mandatory reporting training for professionals, and other prevention efforts.
